Required reading if you want to know your camera.By Floyd GoodrichWhat comes with this camera is not much about the "how toos" but Daves book is a God send and if you want to know how to use all the features of the A6300 you really need this book. I bought my A6300 before Daves book was out and could never figure out how to use Clear Image or Digital zoom on the camera. I asked the photography forums but never got a workable response. I opened up Daves book to page 82 and he laid out step by step procedures to use various zooms. This is my third book from Dave on various cameras and have never been disappointed. He covers every aspect of the camera. I highly recommend his books.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great replacement for the factory manual.By Motorman66I cant stand factory camera manuals. The Sony a6300 manual is just bad as my Nikon D800 manual. I hate how it refers to the camera as "the product". It gets the job done but takes lots more time. and the font and page size make it hard to read.David Buschs manuals are well written and easy to understand. I dont read them cover-to-cover. but instead use them as a detailed reference book. Im already familiar with photography theory. so I can skip the basic tutorial sections and go to the camera-specific sections. I like the fact that the author explains not only how to use certain functions. but why one may want to use them and the results that may be expected.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Like any book on a cameraBy Thomas BakerLike any book on a camera. your mileage will vary based on what you need to learn. I spent a plane ride reading the book on my Kindle App (the printer version would be far easier to see the pictures) and discovered several settings that I had not paid any attention to in the past. The book is well laid out and an easy read - its not bogged down with a ton of jargon. but it is also not a Dummys Guide. The more you understand about basic photography the more use this book will be.I would recommend people looking to maximize their use of the A6300 pick this book up. Its far better than the manual and due to Sonys odd naming in the menus will probably help many people get the most out of their camera.(-1 star for Kindle version because I struggled trying to match the txt with the photos )
