Things like assuming you look alike. have the same nose. etc. My mom and I and my son and I have lots in common. but not in the looks department. There are other such assumptions throughout the book that make it seem a phony gift for me to give my mother. since it clearly could never really apply to us. If the text were more general. it would apply to more mom-child relationships.
