A well written account of Big Island history.By AZ ScholarI have read a lot of books on the history of Hawaii but none that focused exclusively on the Big Island. I enjoyed reading about the evolution of the island people and eventually the economy. Amazing and Wonderful History of the Big Island of HawaiiBy J. C.I read this book before going on a vacation to Hawaii. I was so happy to know all the history as I toured around the Big Island. It really makes me appreciate the people who came to Hawaii; all they went through; their hardships and their triumphs. There are sad parts and there are funny parts. I found it very interesting. I highly recommend this book before you go to Hawaii! Youll be glad you read it.
