There are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.This particular book is nice and the photos are fantastic. The format for this book is the same as most of the Baby Professor books in this series which have a picture with a paragraph and facts on one page. Then the next page is just a photo. It would be nice if they had another paragraph on that page too.Anyway; overall; I do like theses books for their wonderful pictures. It would be nice if the books went into more detail but they are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling. I sometimes watch a friends 3 year old daughter and she likes to look through the pictures on my phone. I plan on showing her these books to keep her entertained. As a teacher of elementary students; I would love to incorporate this ebook into a small group activity where I present a main idea or topic to the whole class and then they break up in small groups and discover more material on their own. My mind was continuously racing as I read through this book thinking of different projects I could make on this topic. It is the perfect age group to let them use a kindle to explore and what a better way to do so than with this ebook! I will totally let other teachers know of this opportunity and will keep this seller in mind with other ebooks available. We love Speedy Publishing Childrenrsquo;s book series as they usually come with excellent photos and basic references that are quite suitable for the underage; for those small family members at home; for those parents who love to teach their children at home and this type of books serve well for teaching purposes at school too.This book refers about some beautiful and amazing nature emplacements at the North and South Places around the world; as our home planet is full of wonders carved out by nature itself.The two poles are at extreme opposites of the planet; and many of their features are also polar opposites.Beautiful photographs and short references about the North Pole which is covered in an thick layer of ice and the South Pole is situated on the continent of Antarctica; both are well depicted on this book with high definition photographs in full color.As this book has beautiful; full colored; high detailed; photographs/pictures you may want to share with your kids and/or students as they can serve as point for further discussions or a way to develop language skill by promoting the children to express themselves about what they see and understand by looking at the photograph or picture.Disclosure: I received this product on a promotional discount for my honest review and they are 100% my own opinions; of course; I do understand that your own opinion may differ from mine and I do respect that in any way.
