PrattThis one-act play is a faithful stage version of Franz Kafkas 1917 story; "A Report to an Academy;" in which an ape tells about how he became a man in just five years. It is fantastic but highly entertaining; a skilful adaptation of the story into a performance by a single actor impersonating a chimpanzee. It is Darwin turned upside down; a sly satire on the Theory of Evolution.
