Die Linachtalsperre der Stadt Vöhrenbach im Schwarzwald ist ein einzigartiges technisches Kulturdenkmal.Erbaut in den Jahren 1921 - 1925; wurde das Bauwerk in den Jahren 2005 - 2007 reaktiviert. Die aufwendige Sanierung durch ein internationales Spezialistenteam rettete die erste und heute einzige Gewölbereihenstaumauer in Deutschland in aufgelöster Bauweise vor dem Zerfall. So faszinierend wie die Sanierung der 143 Meter breiten und 25 Meter hohen Staumauer ist ihre gesamte Geschichte: Der wagemutige Bau der Talsperre brachte die Stadt Vöhrenbach in den 1920er-Jahren an den Rand des Ruins. 1969 wurde die Stromerzeugung eingestellt – eigentlich sollte die Staumauer abgerissen werden. Es folgte ein „Dornröschenschlaf“ und schließlich die nicht mehr für möglich gehaltene Reaktivierung.

There are no magic formulas revealed; but you may find yourself listening to some hit songs you hadnt paid attention to and having a new idea or two.
