Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition); as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits; maps; sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images; so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts; we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

A fun addition to any graphic novel or film libraryBy Midwest Book ReviewMelvin Van Peebles fostered Afro-American cinema and indie films and here provides a graphic novel that was inspiration for his latest film; offering a set of black and white drawings of a lonely mans search for love in all the wrong places. A Doofus wanders the world on a futile quest: stills from the film blend with original drawings and dialogue to provide a fun addition to any graphic novel or film library.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Good BookBy CaglevisionYou can never go wrong with Melvin Van Peebles. His movies ar raw and his humor always has an edge of truth in them. This book is no exception. It is well worth the time and money.
