Not exactly what I expected; but well surprised...By debbye scrogginsFor the record; I received this product free in exchange for reviewing it here on . When I first ordered this; I wasnt clear that this was a Kindle product; but that was my mistake for not reading about the product more closely. Being such; it was delivered digitally; which was nice because it was instantaneous. BUT...I could not print the pages to color! I am not sure if there is a trick that I havent figured out to do so; but for the moment; I cannot color the sheets. BUT...all was not lost as the seller provides links to many free downloadable coloring sheets!! I may not get to color the sheets within this particular book; but I was given access to SIX other books for FREE! AND...if I wanted to purchase a downloadable version of the Birds and Feathers book; I could for a nominal sum. I did have to give them my email address to access the free books; but that was ok.This digital version of the Birds and Feathers Designs Coloring Book had 14 coloring designs to look at; but the free downloadable books have over SIXTY pages of coloring sheets! Thats over 360 free coloring sheets! One can purchase the Birds and Feathers book; but personally; I would rather use the free sheets first. I also would have preferred to get the Birds and Feathers book as I had initially thought I was receiving; but that is ok.I am attaching a photo of one of the coloring sheets from the free downloadable sheets that I printed out. The design is really intricate and it will provide me with some great coloring activity. I have found it to be relaxing. Lately; the increased popularity of adult coloring has shown a spotlight on the activity. This has made the variety of adult coloring books expand. There is so much variety!This series of coloring books have caught my eye. There is quite a few books in the series; the Coloring Therapist. They each have a different theme which makes it possible to find a book for almost anyone wishing to start coloring. The designs in each book are quite similar so if you like one of the books; odds are you will like others as well. The first few pages of the books contain information on how coloring relaxes our mind and body. In a fast paced world full of hand held electronic devices; we donrsquo;t often take the time to relax. Coloring is one way to do just that.I have downloaded this book so that I can preview the designs inside. This is especially helpful when ordering a book online. Without the ability to flip through the book; there is no way to know for sure if you would enjoy the designs for sure. Too many times; I have ordered a book online and been disappointed when it arrived in the mail. The hassle of returning the book isnrsquo;t always worth it so I keep the book while only coloring one or two pages. A preview is very helpful. Look for the Kindle edition to download it yourself. I found the download free of charge in exchange for an honest review of the book. It may still be available as a free download so be sure to look into that before ordering. I love this series and will be downloading as many as I can before I buy them. I plan to leave a review of each book.All of the patterns and designs in this series of coloring books are very similar. If you like the style of one; you will likely like the style of others. They do vary some from whimsical to bold. The same goes for if you do not like the style. There isnrsquo;t much variety of style so if you donrsquo;t like the style of one; odds are you wonrsquo;t like others from the same series.This book; Birds Feathers; is an acceptable book. It has a variety of birds and also some intricate drawings of feathers. They would be interesting to color of you are into birds or feather in any way. I am not so I found the drawing slightly boring and probably wouldnt color many of them. There are only a few intricate ones in the downloaded version. There may be more in the printed copy of the book. I did not find any reason to want to order the printed copy. I felt let down by this one.In comparison to the other books in this series; this one is not my favorite. It is definitely a great coloring book when compared to other books though (not in this series). I see that the artist tried to make some of the bird features stand out through shading and thick lines but Irsquo;d prefer to make those kinds of details myself. Thatrsquo;s my personal preference.
