There are about 200 books in this ebook series that are offered in the kindle store for either free or for .99cent;. You cant really go wrong with the books offered for free. There is a variety of subjects covered and most of the books follow about the same format. You can take a peek inside the books by clicking "Look Inside" and this is pretty much what you get in each book.I gave this ebook only 4 stars because it just seemed so short. It seems the format for this book and most of the Baby Professor books have a picture with a paragraph and facts on the page. Then the next page is just a photo. It would be nice if they had another paragraph on that page as well. But again; since many are free its hard to complain. This book especially seemed to be lacking because the pictures were almost repetitive. But overall; I do love the photos and the facts about the animals but it would be nice if the books went into more detail. Again they are very basic books that I hope will get my kids interested in finding more about each subject.I plan on keeping these books on my iPad for down time for my kids when they get bored waiting different places like the doctors office or practice for a sibling. I sometimes entertain a friends 3 year old daughter who loves to look through pictures on my phone. Nice photos; but lacking in the anount of animals covered in the book.By Jones FamilyI just finished reading this ebook Cool Animals: In the air; on land and in the sea. This book is full of large beautiful photos that are very clear and crisp and easy to see. You have a page that has a big photo along with a spot that holds information about the animal that is in the photo. When you turn the page; the next two pages are a great big photo of the animal that you covered on the previous page. There are seven total animals covered in this ebook. I gave this book a three out of five stars due to the following reasons. First; I would have really liked to see more animals covered then the seven that they did. It would have been nice that instead of the second two page photo if they would have just used that space to cover another animal. I also felt like if they were going to take up four pages for one type of animal that it would have been nice for them to include a little more information about that animal then what is included. But overall; the pictures are beautiful and it is a very nice book to look through. I would say that this book would be good for kids aged one through nine. Children to young to read will enjoy looking a the big beautiful photos and kids that are old enough to read will enjoy learning a couple bits of information about the animals. My one other thing that I really did not like about this book was that they did not even cover any of the animals that are on the front of the book. Seems like a little bit of "false advertising". As a teacher of elementary students; I would love to incorporate this ebook into a small group activity where I present a main idea or topic to the whole class and then they break up in small groups and discover more material on their own. My mind was continuously racing as I read through this book thinking of different projects I could make on this topic. It is the perfect age group to let them use a kindle to explore and what a better way to do so than with this ebook! I will totally let other teachers know of this opportunity and will keep this seller in mind with other ebooks available.
