Easy to understand instructionsBy SadieThere are a lot of drawing books out there but none really break down how to draw an animal into simple. easy to follow instructions. Some have only the heads of animals. but I wanted the entire body.Cats are especially difficult to draw because of all the positions they can get into. but this book helps to break down the body parts into ordinary shapes that you build off of from there. Ive had a lot of art classes. but the one thing most art courses dont teach is how to draw animals. The few artists I know who do it well are self taught. Books like this will help those of us who want to learn the craft but cant find the teacher.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Great Techniques for BeginnersBy Tankman 1812I bought this book for my daughter. She loves it and we draw together. It is easy to understand and there are good suggestions for the types of art supplies that work best with the illustrations i.e. pencil type. paper type etc. This is a very good book for beginners and that is me. I am no artist. It also has animals that require more effort and expertise. I think you will enjoy this book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
