Book is well doneBy deeceeThe book gives several examples of different animals in different poses all done with first drawing the animal by simplifying their shapes. It demonstrates different examples of hair/skin textures. There are nine animals that are taken from line drawing to completion. Granted. these seem to be mostly animals that you would see in a zoo. unless you live near the habitat of these animals. but the applications can be done on the animal of the artist choosing. Nice paper used in the book. I purchased this book as a gift and also got one for myself.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Nice reference bookBy Bill-DevineNot really for the beginner. this book has some very nice examples of animals and would make a good refernece book for anyone who is doing animal studies. For a beginner book it would need more of the beginning line art showing how to basically construct each animal.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
