The definitive life of OKeeffe. mdash;Hilton Kramer; Los Angeles TimesGeorgia OKeefe (1887?-1986) was one of the most successful American artists of the twentieth century: her arresting paintings of enormous; intimately rendered flowers; desert landscapes; and stark white cow skulls are seminal works of modern art. But behind OKeeffes bold work and celebrity was a woman misunderstood by even her most ardent admirers. This large; finely balanced biography offers an astonishingly honest portrayal of a life shrouded in myth. Some images in the ebook are not displayed owing to permissions issues.

If. as I did umpty-zillion years ago with the horse drawing manual. the budding artist applies himself as instructed in this book; they should have fantastic results. Clear. concise. instructions and exercises.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. meant for beginner artistsBy JulywaneThis is pretty basic. It does give hints on drawing fur and hair but in more of a sketchy way than a realistic way. A good launching point for people just starting out drawing animals.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Black and White Pen Drawing bookBy RoxalotThis is pencil drawing book. The book is really out-dated (it was published in the mid-80s). The "book-let" is very short in the number of pages. but very large in size. The B/W drawings were nice.
