Pretentiousness deflater; too funnyBy BeejThis was very funny and I enjoyed it; but the memoir about Oxford was funnier than the other and I identified with it more because Im a total Oxford groupie and it was so funny to find out how awful it really is.3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Two Schoos of ThoughtBy satiably curiousTwo Schools Of Thought is aspecialized memoir in two voices. Ive often wondered what the Oxford experience might be like. John Espey is willing to tell us. Carolyns section is a guided tour of a group of friends doing graduate studies in Literature at UCLA. I couldnt put it down. I wish more of Carolyn Sees books were available. I would buy every one that I dont already own.
