More than that Richards writing style is lively and humorous.He goes through the calendar year of 2007 with all the necessary trips to the regular places and many twitches during the year for rarities. The longest trip was by car to the prairie-type habitat of Rainy River near the Manitoba border. The goal was to reach 300 species in Ontario and he succeeded though just barely.Anyone contemplating a big year will benefit hugely from this book because much of his success depended on having a s winning strategy.
