The definitive history book on Long Beach; authored by one of Americas best authorsBy MikeAs a columnist for Long Beachs major newspaper; the Press Telegram; Tim Grobaty has written some of the best and subtlety funniest articles around- putting him on a par with the best of Dave Berry; et al. So it was interesting to read a factual account of local history by the gifted humorist. The writing brings local history alive; and the use of the vast photos records from the newspaper itself; make this book a must have for locals; as well as everyone else interested in the vastly changing biggest little town in America.
