Granted. some are projects Ive already done. like bleach discharging and painting through a stencil. but I love the idea of completing a series of similarly-sized cloth pieces. and then stitching them all together into one project at the end. Im thinking cloth art journal. If youre a hardened. wizened old crone of a fiber artist. who feels shes done it all already. then this book is not for you. But. if youre a novice. or someone who enjoys another point of view sometimes. along with some new stuff. then have a look at Ms. Steins ideas here.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Hoped for moreBy JennyI bought this book because of the many wonderful reviews. I bought "Textile Art" at the same time. I received "fabric art workshop" first. I looked few quite a few times and thought. "Well. Ill keep it for reference. but..." Today I received the "Textile Art" book. I LOVE IT! I didnt realize they were the same author! I now see how they build off each other. If you are looking for a great book. buy the "Textile Art" book by Susan Stein first. Then if you want to buy this one. you would like it better. Or I do.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. niceBy sanNice book...lots of good stuff
