Care and Design: Bodies; Buildings; Cities connects the study of design with care; and explores how concepts of care may have relevance for the ways in which urban environments are designed. It explores how practices and spaces of care are sustained specifically in urban settings; thereby throwing light on an important arena of care that current work has rarely discussed in detail.

A "Few" Faces of ConfederatesBy Dr. WatsonThere are a few "faces" (images) from the Confederate/Union Navies. but too few. does not let the buyer see the index of names/photos. so it is impossible to see what youre getting. I would have given this one a pass. as it looks like its more about alcoholic and bumbling idiots. For instance. the author gives great attention to a bumbling idiot of a Confederate "Engineer" (Brown) on one vessel. while ignoring the Confederate Medal of Honor winner. Lt. Charles W. Read. who sank more Union ships in fewer days than any other Confederate in a Navy command position.Yet. we get no picture of Read. which are are readily available. Instead we get a picture of the idiot 3rd Engineer Eugene Brown. who was inept to say the least. Id like to see a revised edition with a separate chapter on Read. Certainly. hes worth more than a few sentences.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Civil War History anglesBy EsparkaRonalds 4th book is fully crafted and cared for. The use of a strategy of investigative process. an entire community of enthusiasts assisted in opening avenues of research which was then utilized to crosscheck known histories of identified subjects in order to help identify subsequent subjects in a photograph. The narrative goes way deeper than any of us regular folks ever had access to before. All of Ronald S. Coddingtons books come highly recommended.
