For further information about the Mahavidya I highly recommend The Ten Great Cosmic Powers by SBy Miss PamThis was one of the first books I read about Kali. I found it frustrating to read because there were so many words I did not understand. I did find the chapter about the Ten Wisdom Goddesses really interesting; and ultimately transformative. At that point I gave up on reading this book and spending so much time looking up definitions. So now; some years later; as a devotee of Kali; I have returned to this book; to give it another try. And still; I have to spend a lot of time looking up Hindu words and concepts I know nothing about. The print edition cries out for a glossary or footnotes. Please.The Kindle version; however; makes for much easier reading and comprehension.For further information about the Mahavidya I highly recommend The Ten Great Cosmic Powers by S. I enjoyed the authors explanations of the Indian tradditions from firsthand experience. Sanskrit terminology difficult to understand; though. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been practicing yoga for awhile and is familiar with the Tantra path but would like to learn more.
