I ended up reading it after my trip -- and after I had discovered the wonders of Australian and New Zealand fashion! -- although this book is NOT focused only on designers from down under. The author actually selects a great array of creatives to interview. and each interview peels back layers of the art. business. and *process* of fashion -- all the things that are often hard to see or reflect on when we are already so saturated by images of the visual output... Highly recommend this understated and easy to read little book.
