I grew up on the North side of Bethlehem but attended Hebrew school on the southside.I indeed recognize the streets; businesses and the old mansions on Delaware Ave. and since I am a graduate of St.Lukes Hospital School of Nursing; it was especially interesting to me to learn how that land and its surroundings came about.The history behind Lehigh University amazed me.I am a bit of a "nostalgia bug" so;the idea of finding out the past of Bethlehem was very rewarding to me.If anyone shares in the same "hobby" as I;then by all means;I wound encourage you to check out this book!!!
