In my opinion it is rather bland. I thought it would be wowed and impressed but I am not. Its ok. I knew that was the book I needed as a Mothers Day gift for my mother. who deeply enjoys this kind of book - art and science blended. I looked at it upon receipt and because the images of the feathers look so real. I wanted to stroke the pages. My mother also found it delightful. upon my delivery the other day.
