Description

Perspective; the author tells us; is easy; yet surprisingly few artists are aware of the simple rules that make it so. This easy-to-follow book mdash; the first devoted entirely to clarifying the laws of perspective mdash; remedies the situation. In it; the author uses over 250 simple line drawings to illustrate the concepts involved.Beginning with clear; concise; immediately applicable discussions of the horizon; vanishing point; and the crucial relationship of eye level to perspective drawing; youll learn how to place figures and objects in a drawing; depict interiors; create shade and shadows; and achieve all the other elements necessary for a successful perspective drawing. By repeatedly stressing important points; Mr. Norling teaches you to make them second-nature. Moreover; his approach is so simple and direct that no matter how little raw talent or experience you have; you will soon be able to apply these techniques almost instinctively.Mastery of perspective is a basic skill every artist must have. This simple; nontechnical guide will enable you to master its essentials in a relatively short time. Clear and concise; this book is an essential addition to any artists bookshelf.

Apparently. doesnt think the original line breaks are necessary to a poem. All poems should just have the same formatting as prose because it doesnt change anything. That seems to at least be the attitude of .If you want a good copy. I suggest you find another site that provides free public domain e-books. There are quite a few.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Sin and redemptionBy Fred BThis marvelous story poem. written by a woman deeply embedded in religious life. can be read on many levels. some quite earthy. Redeemed by a sisters love (and what kind of love?) the sinners life again becomes whole. Or maybe its just a story of goblins trading in the forest... The Arthur Rackham drawings accompany the story as beautifully as he intended. If you think all Victorians were prissy and frilly. give Goblin Market a look.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. enjoyed this book a lotBy sandyI really like fantasy books and this was really good. I love Arthur Rackhams artwork and add that to Christina Rossettis poetry. you cant lose. Also since this is from Dover Publications that is a plus. The hardback edition is more than I normally like to spend for books. but classics like this are well worth the extra money because youll keep it forever.
