A young couple prepare dinner - but something isnt right. In a city not so different from our own capital; a group of freedom fighters attempts to stand up to an Orwellian establishment in increasingly perilous circumstances. The story that unfolds brings into question relationships; identities and the nature of reality itself Holcroft plunges us into an Orwellian near-future dystopia; where governmental aural surveillance is rife and; for political dissenters; everyday life is a carefully maintained lie. Its as theatrically playful as it is disturbing - The Times not just a drama of political resistance set in some parallel British dystopia; but also a cute sendup of theatre acting and writing... keeps us guessing throughout - Guardian startlingly imaginative... Clever; funny and disturbing; its a blend of conceptual prank and dystopian satire - Evening Standard

So upsetting to meBy Hannah LitchfieldThis book is completely false in so many ways. The photos are labeled with the wrong people and its very opinionated. This book isnt "What I Think About Every Song" its "The Stories Behind Every Song" and quite honestly I would say only 1/10th of them actually has a legit story behind it. The rest is just what Anthony; Flea; and whoever else (depending on the album) did with the song. Im very disappointed. Also; Ive read Anthonys autobiography more than once and a lot of the history is false... They way they met in middle school is completely false and I guess its just because Im a die hard fan that this is truly depressing to me that I spent 10 dollars on a false and disappointing book. If youre going to go write an informational book and have it published you need to at least get your facts straight. Or just title it "My Opinions and Thoughts of RHCP and Their Music".0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy AdamGreat
