I knew Roanoke was haunted long before this book published. I have to agree with this book Roanoke may one of the most haunted cities in Virginia. My family member moved in a property in the Lincoln Terrace area and this beautiful little house had a awful reputation people would move out immediately. I took care of that for the family member. Nice collection of lure from local and surrounding areasBy chinupceceLocal to the area; I really enjoy this book. It has stories from Roanoke but also the surrounding areas. Most Id heard before as ghost stories growing up but great to have them in a written collection. Intriguing enough to look up some of the supporting facts and drive around looking for story locations. I grew up in Roanoke Va. so I had heard some of these stories. I really didnot know if the stories were true or not but this book made me believe they are real. I also enjoyed reading about the older tales that I had not heard about. I enjoyed it so much that I am thinking of buying 2 or 3 for Christmas gifts.
