Besides that. it includes excellent tab for all his great songs. including capo and alternate tunings. which is absolutely necessary for learning Gordon Lightfoots stuff. You can also just strum the chords and sing around a campfire. or you can read the tab and figure out his fingerpicking patterns. etc. A very good book for beginners to advanced players.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I bought this book because I was learning Early Morning Rain. and I hoped to get some of the lead picking. Gordon plays the song in drop D tuning. capo on the 3rd fret. and in the key of D.
