Mr Durkee has done an incredible job of taking the artist through a journey of self expression; teaching you how to dig deep inside and allowing your creativity to take form. Of course; the many beautiful works that George has shared are inspirational; to say the least; but digging into the meat; without mincing words or adding a load of filler is what makes this book more valuable than most anything I have read regarding art instruction.
