Review
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not green specificBy Jennifer SeeleyThere are a couple chapters at the beginning that focus on LEED and Green Globes ratings systems. but the rest of the book is generic project management. The book focuses on the construction portion of a buildings life cycle. but does not at all address how contractor behaviors can affect a project. A lot of time is spent discussing cost control. but none of those costs are green specific. There isnt even a line item in the example budgets for a LEED consultant. or for the costs of building certification. For a book that claims to look at "Green Construction...Cost Oversight" I expected to see a lot more in the way of analyzing the cost of design choices that achieve desired ratings (and the high cost of those ratings).
