I really enjoyed the book. The author is clearly serious about the subject and did extensive research the histories of all the locations investigated by his team. The book contains a number of enjoyable sections. but especially interesting are the descriptions of the happenings at the Longmont Theater and the old print shop. I ask you. ldquo;body chuterdquo;??? The mind boggles at the very thought. but given the weather in Denver. . .My last thought has to do with the author himself. whom Irsquo;ve met. He is a big. strapping lad as well as a first responder. Clearly not one to be easily shaken by much. For him to admit to even a ldquo;small screamrdquo;. is remarkably telling. Thanks Richard! I look forward to ldquo;In Search. . .rdquo;.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Supernatural history in a small townBy Joey StanfordThe author does a great job of proving the reading a pleasing overview of the some of Longmonts most noted areas. Having investigated several of the sites myself I can verify the veracity of the stories I was familiar with. The author uses a pleasant and inquisitive tone to guide the reader through the various sites. weaving a tale of mystery in a modern town with historic roots. The book reads well and can easily be completing in an evening. The author has several other books on the way and if this book is any indication. they will be eagerly awaited.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. As I purchased this for someone else. this rating and review is theirs:By Toddldquo;Superlative supernaturalI love a good ghost story. This book will give you several. Here the author and his team approach the paranormal. with an open mind. a load of technological equipment. and firm grasp of the history of the buildings they investigate. He paints an accurate picture of the buildings. and of the recent and not recent inhabitants. Providing not only anecdotal stories of haunting. but also gives his teams technological and physical investigation results. I have to admit I got a giggle at more than one of the investigations. Heartened to read that various medical responders have had paranormal encounters with our spirited world. I find that most fire/medical/law enforcement types are not prone to flights of fancy. and are credible sources for accurate event reporting. I hope that Richard branches out. soon. to embrace the spirits of other front range and mountain towns. No telling what tales these old mines and rocks can tell. A very enjoyable read. and I am looking forward to reading more of his works.rdquo;
