We learn that she herself lives in a haunted house. and her adult children dont like staying in her house alone. Hmmm. I wonder how many fans of her books and tours would be interested in house-sitting for her. I wish she would have the time and interest to write about Virginias haunted Eastern Shore. Certainly. those counties must have ghosts. too.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A good read - especially for locals.By Linda PInteresting stories and tales; who knew so many of these places were so close to us on the shore. A lot of research went into these books and they are a fascinating read.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. It has not only great folklore and mysterious tales to tellBy Ron SmithThis book took a LOT of research! It has not only great folklore and mysterious tales to tell. but it is complemented nicely by Mindie Burgoynes gift of regaling the fabric of such tales. with an emphasis on the historical background and its import to this so unique. so American region! Thank you Ms Burgoyne! The Lower Eastern Shore comes alive in your writings.
