Het eigentijdse danstheaterlandschap beweegt zich vaak voort vanuit de opvatting dat performances en dans enkel in het hier en nu bestaan. Deze overtuiging hypothekeert de toekomst van eigentijdse performances en het voortleven van performances uit het verleden. Dit boek meent echter dat deze optiek te beperkt en beperkend is wanneer de mogelijkheden van de nieuwe media in ogenschouw worden genomen. Deze stelling is uitgewerkt aan de hand van het oeuvre (1996-2010) van danser/choreograaf Vincent Dunoyer (deg;1962; Neilly-Sur-Seine). Als rode draad doorheen het werk van Dunoyer loopt de interesse in de overdracht van beweging. Dit onderzoekt hij via verschillende choreografische constellaties waarbij de wisselwerking tussen lichamen; media en toeschouwers een dynamische vorm van lichaams- en dansrepertoire genereert. Het boek focust op wat Dunoyers overkoepelende artistieke project - choreografie opgevat als mediale bemiddeling - betekent voor de (on)mogelijkheid van het proces van transmissie van zijn repertoire en dansrepertoire in het algemeen.

None have disappointed me -- including this one. He "jazzes up" pieces in ways that are not too difficult; but that make them sound fresh and appealing. I have purchased this book for 2 of my piano students who wanted Disney music. Both really enjoy it. It contains a nice mix of mostly classic Disney tunes that pretty much every knows. Be aware that the "easy piano" designation is not really all that easy. I use this book with students who are fairly competent.
