The pictures that do pertain to Hitlers headquarters are bad ones.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Four StarsBy john flemingA good book on the history of hitlers headquarters.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. easily half the photos in this book have nothing whatever ...By HenrySimply put. this book is not exactly what it says it is. These Images Of War books are a hit and miss affair. to be sure. and this one is a miss. If one sets aside the final chapter featuring decent photos of the post-war ruins of the Wolfschanze. easily half the photos in this book have nothing whatever to do with Hitlers headquarters. but are instead of the Wehrmacht and such. While the photos that are of the intended subject matter are not bad. there just needs to be so much more to warrant a full book on this theme and with this title. The captions are also as basic as could be(and not without errors) and are really at the beginner level at best - which more or less describes much of this "Images" series.
