I pulled a lot of great insight into designing form the book. The illustrations and images are brilliant. This is a book all design students should read early-on. How To Architect provides a realistic account on both architecture schooling and architecture as a profession. I am going to graduate school next year and found this book to do a wonderful job of identifying the potentially disjointed journey of architecture. while simultaneously reaffirming the interests of those in this path... It would be impossible for those truly interested to not fly through this with pleasure.Most of all. I found the book to be refreshingly relatable. Mr.Patt did a fantastic job of giving an overview of topics and figures- enough to provoke thought for those familiar with them. and to properly introduce them to those unfamiliar.
