Drawing is perhaps the most immediate medium through which an idea can be articulated. Illustration takes drawing into the narrative realm. The illustrations that we see as children stay with us forever; they play a seminal role in the development of our imagination. On Illustration argues that this unassuming artistic discipline can enrich a personrsquo;s experience of cultural life provided the illustratorrsquo;s talent is matched by the courage and intelligence of the client. The resources it gathers up into one place are fantastic. As someone who has muddled around producing theater and film. this book has provided me with some amazing tools and support organizations. Highly recommend as an entry point into this world!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very good basic source for informationBy Wesley PayneFor those new to producing theatre. this is a very good source of basic information. It is also valuable for an American producer. such as I. who wants to discover the differences in terminology and customs between the US and the UK. It is easily read. easily understood and often quite humorous and entertaining.
