I love Kunta (Italian Edition)

[ePub] I love Kunta (Italian Edition) by Leonardo Squeo in Arts-Photography

Description

Details of every UK release on the Purple Records label from 1971 to 1978 with full colour; high quality photography throughout of labels; sleeves and inserts along with detailed analysis and identification of the crucial 1st pressing details of every album and single. Essential reading for collectors of Purple Records. Following in the footsteps of Frank Zappa; The Beatles and The Rolling Stones; Deep Purplersquo;s entrepreneurial management team founded the bandrsquo;s own lsquo;vanityrsquo; record label in 1971. The brainchild of Tony Edwards and John Coletta; and; along with additional Purple companies; served to control virtually every business and financial aspect of Deep Purplersquo;s musical output; including management; promotion; publishing and of course recording. The label signed a diverse range of additional artists with an eclectic mix of styles; some of which would seem to be incongruous with Deep Purplersquo;s own lsquo;hard rockrsquo; genre. The most comprehensively detailed book on the Purple Records label.

Captivating account of contemporary bullfightingBy dhsullivanI bought this book in preparation for a trip to South America to attend my first bullfight. Reading the book was invaluable. The writing is superb. In addition to an engaging first-hand account of his training as an amateur matador; the author offers a sophisticated analysis of the moral aspects of bullfighting that presents a different perspective than that which we typically encounter in the United States (and; judging by some of what the author writes; the United Kingdom as well). I understood various aspects of the bullfights I saw far better than I would have without reading this book -- even after reading Hemingways Death in the Afternoon and The Dangerous Summer.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Loved this book!By CustomerFascinating insight on a cultural holdover that is beautiful and brutal; oft misunderstood and always sure to divide public opinion.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. outstading good bookBy jes petersenA super book about bullfight (or bull-dance ?). Bullfight is (perhaps) difficult to understand; it is not a sport but an art-form. And it is important for a reader from a no-bullfighting-culture ( I am danish) that AFH. gives the question about ethics so much place in the book.
