Adolphe Appia swept away the foundations of traditional theatre and set the agenda for the development of theatrical practice this century. In Adolphe Appia: Texts on Theatre; Richard Beacham brings together for the first time selections from all his major writings. The publication of these essays; many of which have long been unavailable in English; represents a significant addition to our understanding of the development of theatrical art. It will be an invaluable sourcebook for theatre students and welcomed as an important contribution to the literature of the modern stage.

I think that the only thing that I can disagree on is that on one page the word marsupial is used and the author did not go into details of what a marsupial is. Other than that; this book is great for beginning readers; but I still find that it is short as most of their books are only 18 pages long. I wish it had more pages and info on animals. I like that this book has pictures and info on all of their pages; which comes out to two facts per animal. Overall; its a great book.I had received this book for free in exchange of my honest and unbiased review2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Lovely and amusing way to introduce fun facts about Animals at the Zoo. Great book for anyone at home and school.By C. ROMEROThis book ldquo;Animals At The Zoo: Fun Animals We Loverdquo; belongs to a Childrenrsquo;s Animal book series published by Speedy Publishing. We love Speedy Publishing Childrenrsquo;s book series as they usually come with excellent photos and basic references that are quite suitable for the underage; for those small family members at home; for those parents who love to teach their children at home and this type of books serve well for teaching purposes at school too. This book refers to some of the most well-known Animals at the Zoo. Zoos around the world are trying to coordinate efforts to breed endangered species.Beautiful photographs and short references for The Giraffe; the Koala; the Penguins; the Peafowl; the Peacocks; the Elephants; the Red Panda also known as Fire Fox and the Zebras are well depicted on this book with high definition photographs in full color. As this book has beautiful; full colored; high detailed; photographs/pictures you may want to share with your kids and/or students as they can serve as point for further discussions or a way to develop language skill by promoting the children to express themselves about what they see and understand by looking at the photograph or picture.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. My kids all love animals. The Zoo is their favorite place to ...By Loyal CustomerThis book is a blessing and a curse. My kids all love animals. The Zoo is their favorite place to visit and so of course we have a membership. They loved this book learning about all the animals theyve seen a dozen times about just thought they look cool now they know more about them! The curse part is now when we go to the zoo I get to here "Mom did you know..." about 1000 times haha! We have a toddler and 2 elementary aged kids and they all really enjoy this book. If one of them spouts off a "fact" the others make me pull up the book to be sure they arent lying! It has been a great addition to our Kindle library. I suggest this book to anyone who has kids that love animals.Overall the illustrations were beautiful and the layout was nice and easy for all of us to followDisclosure: I received this item in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
