Selected from the two volumes of Bartoacute;ks For Children; these 42 works were written without octaves to fit the hands of younger players. Each piece has a descriptive title; with half including the words "song" or "dance". Like much of the composers writing; the pieces directly reflect the use of folk idioms.

Whether a fan of Michael Cards music or his writings this will not disappoint. I loved how he wove the stories of his songs with the lyrics. It is a personal book of his life and music.
