I understood that this book is part of the "Campus History Series" and would not be a comprehensive history of the school but I had hoped for a little more narrative than was provided. Sally Ann Kydd does a great job at condensing the more than 170-year history of this institution. I am personally hoping for a sequel that includes more information on the last 20 years; and perhaps even some ideas about where BU is headed in the future.
