The film makers themselves arent very interested in telling the story of the process. or maybe they dont see how it can help business. Very few are original enough to have a story in the first place. Kundan Shah is one of them for sure. Despite reluctance by the director. Jai Arjun Singh comes up with a well researched. well written. and visual record of the making of Indias most iconic black comedy. Its a film that almost didnt get made. and is the coming together of many coincidences. Over the years it has only gained a cult following. and remains more relevant today than in 1983. This book only enhances the pleasure of watching it for yet another time...
