It is definitely worth owning for anyone from Orland; Glenn County; or just interested in Northern California history. It includes the typical development of a small agricultural town and the atypical development of a splendid irrigation system in the West. As with all the Arcadia-type books the photos are the key and Dr. Russell found good ones that tell a wonderful story.
