La storia di tre fratelli; librai sulla via del dissolvimento economico e ormai incapaci di agire al tramonto della loro fortuna commerciale; viene mirabilmente descritta da Tozzi e lrsquo;eterno problema del bene e del male; cosigrave; vivo nei romanzi russi e in particolare in Dostoevskij; egrave; recepito dallo scrittore con uno stile aderente alla realtagrave; e una lingua schietta e lsquo;regionalersquo; quale emerge dalla forza dei dialoghi. I tre fratelli Gambi vengono presentati come uomini in frantumi; che manifestano il medesimo sentimento della vita e la stessa situazione psichica: quella dellrsquo;uomo laquo;a cui egrave; stata asportata la potenza di mordere nel pieno della realtagrave;raquo;. In questo modo; Tozzi racconta la presa di coscienza del fallimento di quelle certezze su cui potevano reggersi le cose e i valori nei secoli passati; trasponendo nel tipo letterario dellrsquo;inetto la crisi dellrsquo;individuo in rapporto a se stesso e agli altri; accogliendo le influenze dei modelli rappresentati da Kafka; Svevo e Dostoevskij. And right after they leave their apartment to go see a friend off to the airport or a train station (I cant remember which one). the zombie apocalypse happens. Right away the characters are pretty dull. they dont really have anything that makes them relatable other than they drank a lot last night and they are taking public transportation.The story itself needs a lot of work from a proofreader. There are several parts of this book that have grammatical errors. like "iphone" should be "iPhone." "Storeys" should be "stories." And "autobots" should be "Autobots." Also in places words are singular when they should be pluralized. small words are missing like "of" or "the" or "a." etc. At first its just annoying but then it becomes downright distracting because you have to re-read sentences a few times just to put the pieces together in your head to figure out what the author meant.The ending twist is actually not bad and makes me want to know what happens next. And for that reason the book gets 2 stars instead of just 1 star. If the author could clean this up a bit then it would make for a really good opening to a longer story.
