It is often used at funerals; considered the anthem of Irish Americans and Irish Canadians and was used to represent Northern Ireland at the start of the London 2012 Olympics. It is famously recorded by among others Eva Cassidy; Elvis Presley; Bing Crosby; Andy Williams; Harry Connick Jr; Judy Garland; Danny Kaye; Jerry Lee Lewis; Eric Clapton; Mario Lanza; Tony Bennett and Aaron Neville. The Beatles performed the first line at the end of One After 909 during the Apple Rooftop Performance on 30 Jan. 1969. In popular culture it has been featured in films; on TV and in video games among other places; The Proposition; Memphis Belle; Futurama; The Muppet Show; Tiny Toon Adventures; Goodfellas; The Simpso....

Its incredible! The best part is that each book contains a year worth of units divided into sequential lessons and with specific repertoire (though there is plenty of flexibility if you want to use other repertoire for some parts of lessons). Even if your kids arent caught up to the sequence (my 5th graders are currently on 2nd grade concepts). the lessons work and are adaptable to your students. your equipment. your classroom. your administration. and your overall situation. These books are an amazing resource for elementary music teacher and something that the elementary music world has been lacking for much too long. The lessons can also serve as an outline that can be supplemented with other activities (concert prep. Orff activities. instrumental performance. etc).0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Fantastic resource-buy now!By M. GreenHoulahan and Tacka are incredible!
