I am an amateur photographer with a primary focus on birds and wildlife and I get a lot of practice in my own backyard. Im always looking for new ways to take my work to the next level. After reading this book; I have no doubt that my images will greatly improve.I see Chris bird images on a regular basis and interact with him frequently on a social media site; where I co-curate a highly regarded page that showcases only the best bird photographers images. His images are always top-notch and appear on the page often.The book is easy to follow; well written and full of tips/techniques that are very nicely illustrated. His setups are inexpensive and can be made from items found in and around the house.This is a book that both birders and photographers will enjoy. Extremely helpful tips!! Very informative!! If you make the blind; add to the supply list mesh and buttons or Velcro! I would also recommend a light fabric as I used a 100% cotton heavier fabric and it is "smokin hot" inside; which will be nice for winter; yet not for hot humid southern weather.Personal note: my birds are actually coming less and more skittish now that I built this blind than when I would stand outside with my tripod alone...guess there is a getting accustom period for the birds-maybe they are not camouflaged blind after all!?!?:)0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The building projects; when required; are relatively simple; and helpful. Backyard bird photography is a gateway "drug"; so to speak. Soon; youll be wanting longer; faster lenses to do the hard stuff; like birds in flight!
