MASTERING THE D600 shows you is a straight forward easy to understand way just how this camera works. It explains the how and why for just about every setting for the D600 and with enough samples and graphics that anyone can feel comfortable with this magnificent camera. I already own Mr. Youngs D300 book and thought enough of it that when I ordered the D600 book I bought both the paperback version and the e-book. I like being able to take it with me on my iPad for easy reference when Im in the field shooting with my D600. If you own a Nikon D600 youll be more than happy if you buy this great resource.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great if graduating from old entry level Nikon or a different brandBy Rashard KellyI upgraded to the D600 from the D40. I worked with the camera myself for about 6 months and got stunning results. This book was great. The deeper menu settings are covered individually so you can understand what they mean. He gets a little wordy to me; but I love the friendly tone of the book. I got it for Kindle and enjoyed it. If you are coming from a D90/D200/300/7000 etc and you have already read a book like this. This may be a little pointless. You would probably know most of whats in here and be able to pick up the missing pieces on the internet for free. LL IN ll I highly recommend this book for someone new to this grade of camera. I think its also great for people who switch from other brands; you may know most of this stuff from our old cameras but this book will help you quickly migrate to the D600 frame of mind.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. EXCELLENT BOOK for D600 NewbiesBy Matt BradyThis book is extremely comprehensive! It is no wonder it is one of the best selling books in its category. Im not a very avid reader; but I can honestly say I read every page of this book. Not only is the book full of useful hints and tricks on how to get the most out of your camera; but it teaches you how to use manual mode proficiently and just how to all around get the best shots possible from this phenomenal tool. I am very very happy I got this book. I even tend to take it with me from place to place to leave in my hotel room in case I want to reference something or recall a nifty trick that I forgot. This book is a must have for any D600 owner and photography enthusiast.
