Amazing Accessible InsightsBy Chethan SarabuSprawltown is brilliantly written because it allows you to open it up to a random page; and immediately pick up something about new sustainable ideas of urban development or speculation. A broad range of topics is covered regarding the problems exacerbated by sprawl. This even includes the problems created by consumer tourism. Thinking of infrastructure as art; is a great section of the book complete with many insightful comments and great examples. Anyone in the fields of urban planning or landscape architecture should pick it up. However I think its a book that would give a good introduction to the problems of sprawl to the general public; along with many solutions as to what can be done with good planning and sustainable decisions.
