Doty Meets Coyote is an audio tapestry of traditional and original Native American stories from the American West told by master storyteller Thomas Doty. It is Thomas Dotyrsquo;s work as a storyteller to not only perpetuate the Old Time myths with integrity but to add new stories to the collective basket of folklore; just as tellers before him have done for centuries. Storytelling is an ancient tradition as well as a living art. Thomas Dotyrsquo;s adventures with Coyote find them journeying into the rich native culture and traditions of Dotyrsquo;s ancestors.

Simply put: brilliantly performed!By CustomerFor those of us not fluent in German but familiar with CDs of "Faust" in German; especially the 1959 performance of Will Quadflieg as Faust; and the famous performance of Gustaf Gruendgens as Mephistopheles; which is available on DVD (but only in German and only in DVD Region 2 format); this Naxos recording deserves profound applause. Happily; we can now celebrate the great Goethe in a great English performance of his masterpiece. Listening to the "Audible" performance on Kindle is a feast for the devil in all of us. The Naxos "Faust" is quite wonderful: exciting theatre dramatically performed by voices and sound effects that enhance imagination; the performance will more than nudge listeners to seek out and read English translations. It will prompt readers of English translations to seek out recordings in German. Once you understand "Faust" in English; to listen to it in German; whether as an audio book or as a recorded performance; you will feelingly hear some of the magic and beauty of Goethes poetry. Many; many thanks!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Worth the price!By JacobFaust is regarded as one of the best works in German literature; for $11; its worth the price. The only thing that brought it down from a 5 to a 4 is that the book was not in "perfect" condition; although that may have just been from the travel to my doorstep. No major damage; the book just looks like its corners were rubbing against the inside of the package on its way to my home; which made the corners look a little roughened and fuzzy instead of rigid and "pointy"; nothing major; hardly noticeable; and "like new" condition. Great book for a great price; definitely recommend to anyone!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
