Has a very intriguing surprise ending. Overall; a fun read.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A super book to learn about the solar system.By Anjali Suzanne AngelI am not sure if this will show as a verified purchase because I bought it on UK. This is a different type of novel; without serious character development or much interaction with personal dialogue. I balked at first; as I have come to expect the normal novel with all of its elements in balance. Mr. Smiths book is a novel novel! In accord with the coldest; most distant place known in this solar system; and the scientific; objective and rigorous minds of the characters involved; any dialogue is veracious and encyclopedic--this is not your warm and fuzzy intercourse. I find it refreshing that the author avoids those dialogues that would get in the way of his purpose--and I believe that purpose is to teach and inform the reader who would otherwise have to read a textbook to get the space travel information the author imparts. After getting used to the lack of close encounters and internal debate; I actually enjoyed reading this. There is a plot; which is its saving grace as a novel; and it propelled me along with all of the interesting technology and facts; right through to the grand finale. If you like space travel and our own solar system; with gobs of playful; creative; futuristic stuff; try this one.
