This sets the stage for her explaining why she chooses ONLY the M (manual) mode on her camera to get the best results for her images. This chapter also includes a diagram and explanation of the exposure triangle ndash; exposure time; ISO value and aperture. The chart and explanation is also helpful for long-time photographers to review.The author also covers lighting; using reflectors; flags and other light shapers. Then she explains how to steer the viewers gaze to the image with lighting; image composition and using selective focus. The book includes projects for the student to use to develop their skills learning food photography.I appreciate the fact that all through the 234 page book there are excellent photographs to illustrate what she is describing.
