In ihm verwirft Malewitsch alle bisherigen Kunststrouml;mungen und verkuuml;ndet eine neue Form der Kunst: den Suprematismus. Er soll die Kunst zu ihrem Ursprung zuruuml;ckfuuml;hren und uuml;ber diesen Nullpunkt hinaus in die Zukunft weisen. Nach einer kurzen Einleitung zur Russischen Avantgarde und der Bedeutung der literarischen Form des Manifests folgt eine Vorstellung des Habitusbegriffs von Pierre Bourdieu. Im letzten Teil der Arbeit wird schlieszlig;lich das Manifest Schritt fuuml;r Schritt analysiert und mit Hilfe der von Bourdieu etablierten Begriffe Ruuml;ckschluuml;sse auf den im Text manifestierten Habitus des Kuuml;nstlers gezogen.

Covers the basics and has very good instructions and photos. If you are intermediate; this book reinforces what you know but doesnt really add anything- and doesnt purport doing so.
