Les Oiseaux d'Audubon (French Edition)

[PDF] Les Oiseaux d'Audubon (French Edition) by John James Audubon in Arts-Photography

Description

With outraeous anecdotes about everyone from Leonardo (alleged sodomist) to Caraviaggio (convicted murderer) to Edward Hopper (alleged wife beater); Secret Lives of Great Artists recounts the seamy; steamy; and gritty history behind the great masters of international art. Yoursquo;ll learn that Michelangelorsquo;s body odor was so bad; his assistants couldnrsquo;t stand working for him; that Vincent van Gogh sometimes ate paint directly from the tube; and Georgia Orsquo;Keeffe loved to paint in the nude. This is one art history lesson yoursquo;ll never forget!

Something to keep as a reference and for reading on your Kindle...By Michael BruchasI had read the softback book from the local library and decided - though not perfect - it would be a good Kindle-carried source. It helps with the basics of night shooting - for the neophyte.Which most days - I am.I also like that it shows work done with mid-level point and shoot digis.I shoot with a variety of higher end ps digis - the Leica D Lux 3; Canon G7 and Nilon P600 - on tripod.Plus older Fuji S2 dslrs and a Pentax K-01 "brick" - the latter for limited HDR.After looking a lot of similar books on night image capture - I bought this one!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Answers a few questions.By oopwah. This book brings out a few things that are different from film photography and provides a good checklist for a night time shoot. For amateur photography a good read ; for advanced amateur on it could have been written in half the number of pages; a decent buy used.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!By Lee HoyWell; if you are looking for a book that seems to have been written during commercials of a football game; then this is it. You can find more detail doing a random search on a photography forum. There is basically NO detailed information in this book. I cant even say this book is useful for beginners unless you have NO idea that you can walk out your front door at night and photograph the moon; a city or take a flashlight and make patterns. I have many photography books and this has to be one of the worst ones. Even $10 in Kindle Edition was a waste. There is NO exposure information for any photos; most of the photos were not even that interesting in my opinion. I frequent a forum regularly and the photos on that forum blow the ones in this book away. I had purchased the Canon EOS Flash book by this same publisher and assumed other titles would be equally impressive. I was horribly wrong.
