Its all too easy to think of ourselves as the dominant (and thereby) better species; but I think a book like this helps remind us that we arent necessarily the most beautiful or best animal out there; but rather that weve been granted the gift unique of recognizing beauty in the world. From cats to cows to camels; a book like this helps us to recognise the beauty of our fellow animals and reveals artists interests in such `beasts throughout the ages.
